Return, Exchange & Financing Policy

Fantastic Jewelry NYC offers eligible returns and exchanges within 30 days from the date of delivery. All returns are subject to approval, inspection, and the conditions listed below.

1. Return & Exchange Eligibility

To qualify for a return or exchange, the item must be:

  • Unused and unworn
  • In original condition
  • Returned with all original packaging, tags, certificates, warranty cards, and accessories
  • Returned with proof of purchase
  • Returned with any free or promotional items included in the original order, when applicable

Items showing signs of wear, scratches, damage, resizing, alteration, missing tags, missing certificates, or misuse may be refused.

2. Final Sale & Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Custom or made-to-order jewelry
  • Personalized or engraved items
  • Resized or altered items
  • Wedding bands
  • Gift cards
  • Items marked as final sale
  • Special orders made or sourced specifically for the customer
  • Giveaway, raffle, prize, or free promotional items

Final sale status will be shown before purchase when applicable.

3. Domestic Returns — United States

For eligible standard U.S. purchases paid by credit card or debit card, Fantastic Jewelry NYC provides a complimentary prepaid return shipping label.

Complimentary return shipping does not apply to:

  • Financing purchases
  • Layaway or reserved items
  • Orders over $7,000
  • Giveaway, raffle, prize, or free promotional items
  • Custom or made-to-order jewelry
  • Personalized, engraved, resized, or altered items
  • Final sale items
  • Pre-owned watches, when offered

Returns must be approved first and shipped using the approved return label and instructions provided by Fantastic Jewelry NYC.

Fantastic Jewelry NYC is not responsible for loss, theft, delay, or damage when an item is returned using an unauthorized shipping method, an uninsured carrier, or incorrect packaging.

Items sent back without prior approval may be refused.

4. Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method only.

Once the return is received, inspected, and approved, please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to be processed. Your bank, card issuer, or financing provider may require additional time to post the refund.

The following are non-refundable when applicable:

  • Expedited shipping fees
  • Appraisal fees
  • Service charges
  • Custom work fees
  • Special order fees
  • Restocking fees, when applicable

5. Exchanges

Eligible items may be exchanged within 30 days from delivery.

The fastest way to complete an exchange is to return the original item after approval and place a new order for the replacement item.

Exchanged items must meet the same return eligibility requirements.

6. Financing Purchases

Financing purchases follow the same return eligibility rules as regular purchases.

If your order was paid through a financing provider such as Shop Pay Installments, Zip, PayTomorrow, Affirm, or another available third-party provider, any approved refund will be processed through the original financing provider.

The provider may:

  • Adjust your remaining balance
  • Cancel future payments
  • Refund payments already made, when applicable

Processing times vary by provider.

Fantastic Jewelry NYC does not control financing approval, repayment schedules, interest, late fees, or refund posting times once the refund has been submitted to the provider.

Financing purchases do not qualify for complimentary prepaid return shipping and may be subject to a restocking fee.

7. Layaway & Reserved Items

Layaway and reserved items may not be eligible for a full refund.

Because these items are held for the customer and removed from available inventory, layaway or reserved orders may be eligible for store credit or exchange only and may be subject to a restocking fee.

Layaway and reserved items do not qualify for complimentary prepaid return shipping.

8. Restocking Fees & Return Shipping Exclusions

To protect inventory quality and cover processing costs, certain orders may be subject to restocking fees and may not qualify for complimentary return shipping:

  • Financed purchases: up to 10%
  • Layaway or reserved items: up to 10%
  • Orders over $7,000: up to 15%
  • Pre-owned watches, when offered: up to 25%

Any applicable restocking fee will be deducted from the approved refund amount.

Complimentary prepaid return shipping does not apply to financed purchases, layaway or reserved items, orders over $7,000, pre-owned watches, giveaway/prize items, custom items, altered items, or final sale items.

Restocking fees do not apply when Fantastic Jewelry NYC determines that the item was defective, incorrect, or damaged before delivery.

9. Order Cancellations

Orders begin processing shortly after they are placed.

If an order is canceled before shipment and before special processing, sourcing, customization, or preparation has started, it may be eligible for a full cancellation.

If processing, sourcing, customization, or preparation has already started, cancellation may be refused or subject to applicable fees.

Once an order has shipped, it must follow the return process.

10. Shipping Delays

Fantastic Jewelry NYC will make reasonable efforts to ship orders within the timeframe shown at checkout or on the product page.

If an order cannot ship within the promised timeframe, the customer will be notified with available options, which may include continuing with the order or canceling the unshipped order when applicable.

11. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

12. Return Inspection & Fraud Prevention

All returns are inspected before approval.

Fantastic Jewelry NYC reserves the right to:

  • Refuse returns that do not meet policy requirements
  • Reject items that are worn, altered, damaged, resized, or missing original materials
  • Deduct applicable fees where permitted
  • Reject returns involving empty packages, switched merchandise, suspected fraud, or abuse of the return policy
  • Report suspected fraudulent activity

If a return is rejected, the customer may be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back.

13. Store Credit

Store credit may be offered in certain cases at our discretion.

Store credit is non-refundable, non-transferable, and may only be used at Fantastic Jewelry NYC.
